WASHINGTON & JEFFERSON COLLEGE
EPSILON DELTA CHAPTER
for hope. for strength. for life.
Welcome to Delta Gamma at
      Washington & Jefferson College

On behalf of the Epsilon Delta chapter of Delta Gamma, we would like to welcome you to our website! We hope you enjoy browsing and learning more about what our chapter has to offer!

Epsilon Delta includes members from a variety of backgrounds with unique and individual personalities, talents, and interests. Our sisters participate in soccer, field hockey, lacrosse, water polo, swimming, cheerleading, drama club, student government, and many, many more! We also have girls accepted into top choice medical schools and law schools, and many of our sisters travel abroad for studies or internships. We challenge ourselves everyday in leadership positions not only within the chapter but also around our campus and community.

Our chapter continually prides itself on philanthropic and academic successes. We volunteer for the Washington Greene County Blind Association, in order to reinforce our philanthropy, Service for Sight. Anchor Splash, our largest philanthropy event, raised $4,416 last spring with a record turnout of participants and supporters. Our chapter also coordinates philanthropic events with other fraternities in order to promote inter-fraternal relations and community involvement. Last year, we helped Alpha Tau Omega organize and execute the Make-A-Wish flag football tournament, and in the fall, Delta Gamma and Delta Tau Delta correlates a see-saw marathon with the proceeds alternating between Service for Sight and Delt's philanthropy, Bleed Purple. This fall semester was also a great success in academics, as we earned the top fall GPA on campus, with many of our girls making Dean's List!

As Delta Gammas, we are proud and honored to call each other our sisters. The friendships and memories we have last far beyond college, and we thank you for taking the time to explore the high ideals of sisterhood our chapter upholds!

"Sisterhood is many things:

It's a warm smile on a cold and rainy day...

a friendly hug..

a cheerful hello...

It's all that a good and lasting friendship is, only better.

It's treasured.

It's sacred.

It's knowing that there will always be someone there for you.

It's dreams shared, and goals achieved.

It's counting on others and being counted on.

It is real."
